WINTER WHITE

WINTER WHITE

above image, from my trip to Scotland, is for shari's winter white week

hi there.
it has been quite fun to look at the entire year when planning for port2port press. my little business is sort of divided up into four parts and this year i will have two more parts tacking on {one being the 'A Year of Mornings, 3191' book which will be out in the Fall and one being a surprise project which will launch very soon}. and although these new bits are not really a part of my business, they are still, happily, taking up quite a bit of time. therefore, my key mantra for the year is going to have to be 'balance'. knowing you friends and reading your blogs is part of the inspiration for this mantra so i know you know what i mean, right?

part of the new p2p press harmony comes in adjusting my Limited Edition Card offerings; there just simply cannot be as many cards this year. however, i am so excited about being able to offer seasonal updates in my shop starting with WINTER which will be out on march 3rd. {so the new items won't necessarily have to do with winter, they will just come out in the winter, if that makes sense.} scaling this part of my business back means that what i will produce for these updates will be, i hope, even more inventive and interesting to you and to me. i cannot wait to show you what i have up my sleeve and get your thoughts!!

as always, thanks for your enthusiasm and support; i'd love to hear any feedback you have as well.
and tomorrow, a bit more about another part of p2p press.
have a nice day, mav

balance. yes i need some of that myself. i like what shari said, about focusing. funny i have had an idea for a simple summer quilt floating around in my mind lately, but it has been all white! maybe it is really a winter quilt begging to get out? lovely photo!

Balance is so hard to attain sometimes. Each year something new comes along and we need to balance. I find myself thinking about this alot, too.

I have similar notions of a white quilt as Hannah, but I think it makes sense for summer and winter. It's floating around in my head now, begging to come out.

I think that it is good to scale back and focus in. It will allow for new ideas and opportunities that might not have been possible before. I am so excited for your book. And suprise project!

Ah, balance... I fear I have little. My balance in various yoga poses is often off the mark as I can't always make my mind still. I tend to throw myself into one or several projects and hope wildly for the best. I need a little balance; I need to eat lunch before 4.
Looking forward to seeing your new projects, designs and creative endeavours.
