hi.
as the holidays approach i am going to trickle in posts giving some 'Artist Love' to those artists whom i really admire and appreciate {and who have little bits for sale!}. in the end you will be able to click on holiday under tags and see all of them.
today i wanted to start with Gracia & Louise out of melbourne, australia. i got my little fossils zine {see it larger here} the other day and am just so happy with it ... gorgeous prints of watercolor fossils as interpreted by louise. what i admire about these ladies is their translated sense of adventure. one can look at their work and truly glean that they say YES when they think of new ideas ... they venture forward with paper, scissors, paintbrush in hand looking at all that is around them and creating special pieces of art from those chapters. check out their online store, full of sewn things, paper goods, zines and works on paper, here.

You sold me, I've always loved G&L's work, but the fossils zine is especially wonderful! I just bought it, happy holidays to me.
