EVERYDAY TEXTURES
« Previous Main Next »

hi.
even the supposedly dull work of unpacking new rollers for the letterpress brings about beauty... just look at this textured soft paper they wrapped the greasy rollers up in. this week i want to notice what is around... the simple or complex surfaces of the everyday. i have some new & inspiring books to show you but i won't get to that until next week. until tomorrow, talking of textures, don't miss these drawings found via jen. cheers! mav

Love the photo Mav. I also love your plan this week to notice what is around you. The texture of this paper seems the perfect inspiration.

That paper with its grease and history made for a wonderful photo. A lucky find, and what an eye you have for such things.
