hello!
well i certainly miss shari & tom. it was such a pleasure to host them for a few days.
we hit the beach, an island {where we waded}, lots of food stops, wonderful shops, my favorite grocer, coffee with two special blogging friends ... but most of all we did a lot of talking. shari & tom examine and ponder all they come upon. it seems they want to know at least a little bit about everything that is in front of them and it goes hand in hand that they want to walk gently on the earth ... it's so admirable. i hope they will visit again soon.
oh and most importantly, shari introduced me to salem baking co. moravian cookies and i am SO in love with them. this must be one of the best cookies in the world ... next to carol's which is another long-time favorite {completely different cookies of course}.
and so now i'm back to work. i have the 2nd letterpress up & running and am gearing up for a very busy 2 months. gosh how i wish i could jump ahead to november 15 so i could show you the 2008 calendar ... oooh and to october 1 so i could show you the Autumn Prints Set {the final of my seasonal sets with camilla}. well, it's going to be a fun few months ... and i'm glad i have this space to share with you all that inspires along the way.
i'll type to you tomorrow with some Friday Flickr Favorites.

congratulations about your second press, Mav!! my goodness.. Sounds like a wonderful time. Nothing beats time spent with wonderful friends. Oh! and I'm marking November 15th on my calendar!

What a wonderful picture shared with lovely blog friends. S&T sound just like words on shari's blog -the admirable time they take to explore everything around them and keeping every moment special. So nice to see you all had a fantastic time. Looking forward to the calendar and new prints with Camilla.
