GIVE ME MORE ...
« Previous Main Next »

It was a summer evening; the sun was setting; the sky was blue still, but tinged with gold, as if a thin veil of gauze hung over it, and here and there in the gold-blue amplitude an island of cloud lay suspended ... An edge of light surrounded everything. –Virginia Woolf, The Years
give me more of these long summer days ...
give me more of the freshest farm foods ...
give me more of the sound that the leaves make when they blow in the breeze.

I love your thoughts on summer...but I don't think we'll ever having crushing happening, until I move closer to the coast.
I love my summer mornings to start with fog...

i felt exactly that way today--no humidity, crisp blue skies, soft breezes. it was a joy to be alive today and to sit under the cherry trees at the botanic garden with dinah.
