ah maria, i agree with you. this is the first year since a very small girl that i am soaking up summer so fervently! for all the same reasons you list, and for more hours of daylight! i smiled a great wide YES! to this post.

I know! whats not to love about summer?
that flower is amazing, they almost don't seem real when they are that huge.

i felt exactly that way today--no humidity, crisp blue skies, soft breezes. it was a joy to be alive today and to sit under the cherry trees at the botanic garden with dinah.
