hi!
this weekend i was lucky enough to see my friend karen's new show entitled SACO BOG. oh, i just loved it all. my favorite was the way she created little vignettes with her soft logs and the paper work she hung on the wall. it felt like i walked into a bog ... a very magical one.
i have shown a few photographs above and the last of them is the exhibition catalog which is for sale through the Front Room Gallery for $15. also this is the first time karen has put her fabric from the show for sale by the yard. you can also contact the Gallery about that if you are interested. the contact is jwhite01@maine.rr.com OR 207-767-9070.
today i'll have a long Q&A about port2port press on design*sponge if you're interested.
and i'll be out for a few days shipping the card society {oh how hard it will be to say goodbye to lots of cute click pens!} and taking a few days off. the 15% off birthday celebration only has 13 days left ... i am going to miss the party!

wow! I just skipped over to D*S to read your "ask a designer" column. So cool that you did that. I have to tell you that my heart went into my stomach when I read the details about your plates and ink! How brave of you to give out your sources. This is one of the things that I battle with- as many of my artist friends ask me- and I won't tell. You have been a huge inspiration for me- i am now printing wedding invites using an etching press and mag. plates. your marketing and streamlined- clutter free- airy sense of work and living are fantastic. thank you!
