MAY DAY
« Previous Main Next »

oh may day! how we wait for you all winter long ... welcome may!
so this is a photo of my new print from the may-august edition of the Photographs & Prints project.
see the print a bit larger here and a few more images here.
for me, ON THE COUNT OF THREE revolves around the Idea that all around us are comforting patterns ... our lives are different ... we have daily ups, downs ... and yet there is always three. one, two, three ... take a breath ... slow down or find courage in something, anything ... all day long we can stop, count to three and find ourselves again.
thank you for viewing my project! i'll look forward to your thoughts on how it resonates with you.
i also have one card set online: lavish lilac. i want so badly to smell the lilac bushes ... any day now.
and other handmade goods updates today: shanna, sally, amanda, abigail, jenny, lisa s.
good day friends and again, thanks!

I could not even imagine what the set-up must have looked like on your "morning/noon/night" print. Congratulations- it is wonderful.

Beautiful! Moves like scenes from a film. Reminds me of a imaginary holding hotel from another dimension where you can go rest and gather your thoughts and be back in your present dimension with a clear head. Does that make sense? I like that it is very similar to your last series.

Really beautiful. The light and mood in the photographs is so warm -it evokes a smell for me of old houses and apartments I've lived in (is that weird?). I also love the textures -they all hold together so well.

Hello! Is it possible for a person to buy just one of the photographs if you have extra? I live in such a tiny place I really can only buy very select things or I'll be run over with stuff. But oh oh oh, I am soooooo in love with the photo of the brick building. It reminds me of my boarding school experience. I could tangle myself in that ivy and just sleep for ages.

I love your project idea, and the thought behind this one gives me hope. It's a reminder that although we experience the ups & downs in life, we can always take a breath after everything and to reflect. How encouraging and lovely, inspirational as always! x
