where or where does that girl disappear to? not very far, my friends. i'm officially waddling and the complaining has hit an all time high! this was taken last night while trying to catch up on blog reading but sitting upright is rarely comfy. i'm just too compacted and i think there may be a future soccer player residing in this bloomin' belly.
had a lovely dinner with friends this evening. dined on cape cleare salmon which is an ultimate summer treat in our little town. typically thursday we pick up sandwiches from the cape cleare salmon cart at the co-op. J who is not a huge fish fan let alone salmon eater has been converted to a true northwester and is quite addicted himself. we polished off the night with a game of quiddler. i lost but it was all around fun.
it was such a nice time. they are some of the first people we met up here. i worked with her in her felting studio as an assistant. we made scarves. this is an example. drove home in the drizzle. we're so excited to see fall and rain! a shout out to the little bird herself....we love rain too! this weather makes me want to stay indoors and craft! bout time really.
also...thanks to everyone on the encouraging pregnancy...motherhood...and collage well wishes and thoughts. J and I just can't believe in just 3 more weeks we'll have a new addition that will be with us "always". it's super exciting. and for those of you wondering if we opened the envelope....yep. but i figure telling all you folks after the arrival still leaves some sense of surprise.

i always felt like the last three weeks were so grumpy to take away any anxiety about labor, just come on already! cute cute belly shot, but where is that belly button that should be poking out?
