friday!
yes, yes ... is it true that everyone loves friday?
i will take a word from emma, who commented yesterday that she feels 'tired' by thursday, i feel pretty 'tired' by friday. i think i love saturday & sunday more and i guess maybe therefore by default i love friday because it has a dreamy quality as i wonder about the coming weekend. i know one thing for sure. i'm sure i'll wear my red tights and i'm sure i'll take many walks looking up a many a rooftop ... weekend, here we come!
now, getting to my friday flickr favorites. this week it is all about beautiful artwork.

and my friday etsy favorite this week is SCRAP {originally found through one of my favorite blogs, hoping for happy accidents}. when i saw the scarf that k. cooper posted about i just quickly snatched it up. it has arrived and is even more lovely than i thought. here it is with me as model {yikes}:
i highly recommend checking out & bookmarking this etsy boutique. danny has amazing talent and his attention to detail is something i very much appreciate. the scarf came in a package that he had made & sewn himself! it was all magnificant and so original. just look at this enchanting necklace. and for your best crafter friend, this cuff. tell your friends about this one!
so, here we have spent another whole week together!
i hope this past week you have found some quiet time; enjoyed a few hugs; created something beautiful; read something that made you think; talked to someone you love; and noticed something lovely or unexpected in the everyday. thanks for reading & adding in your thoughts. each comment is read by me and appreciated. i will take some time this weekend to re-read what you have wrote and enjoy our conversation all over again. as i am doing every friday, comments are off and we will enjoy the silent space.
