hi there!
today i wanted to post four nyc fashion window images & four things. i was tagged ......... this one seemed fun so here it goes but i won't be tagging anyone else cause that is not the way i roll.
FOUR THINGS --
four jobs I've had:
floral shop
french restaurant
small university press book publisher
designer for a chocolate company
four movies I can watch over and over:
room with a view
matrix
amelie
the big lebowski
just look at this great display ... just shirts folded & stacked! i love it!
my top photograph is a close-up if you couldn't see that already.
four places I've liked:
my old apartment in chicago
a small guest room in a woman's flat in florence
a tiny town with 30 cottages in turville, england
the restaurant brown on the lower east side in new york
four TV shows I love :
don't watch tv but i am in love with the BBC show, as time goes by
four places I've vacationed:
california {all over}
portland & seattle area
vermont
williamsburg, virginia
white on white ... camilla, i'm thinking of you here.
four of my favorite dishes:
pasta with olive oil, garlic and freshly grated cheese
homemade chicken soup
mac & cheese with bread-crumbs
snack plate {cheese, olives, nuts, fruit, whatever is in the fridge}
four sites I visit daily:

gorgeous, eh?
four places I would rather be right now:
to be honest, i like where i am but ...
i want to travel to scandinavia {including iceland}, portugal, paris & tokyo
and for fun, one album that makes me feel like i'm traveling around the world to other places ... floating about free ... is the new cat power album ... get it or email me and i'll send you a burned copy.

What a great post mav!...love it:)I second travelling to Scandinavia/Iceland, i'm very into cold places (just as well really).. I must check out Cat Power, iv'e never heard her stuff (what genre is it?)..i'm listening to the greatest hits of Cat Stevens just now tho (ha) x

It looks like you're enjoying your time in nyc. I like the way the light plays with the images through the glass. it makes them surreal and beautiful. i also like the shirts display. so simple. yet so abundant and inviting. it is fun to get to know you a little bit more through this meme.

isn't the new album great? i was really disappointed with FREE, but I'm glad I decided to give this one a shot because I love it. It's great "work" music.
